Our next guest is Regina Sykes. Regina is the founder of Monica’s Voice, a non-profit organization established in memory of her daughter Monica, and producer of Hidden Treasures of the Lou, a variety show that features local St. Louis talent. She is a wife, mother, and grandmother who has a passion for dance. She started pole dancing in 2009 at the age of 43. She’s an instructor at Mynx Pole Dance Academy and Dahlia Pole in St. Louis. Regina loves to perform and has performed and shared her love of dance in some of the following shows and competitions: Michelle Mynx Aerobatic Pole Dance Extravaganza; Jeezy’s Juke Joint, a black burlesque review; Show Me Burlesque Festival; The Wild Side a Badass Pole Show in Chicago; Pole Through in Chicago; and competed and placed in North American Pole Dance Competition, Pole Sports Organization, and PoleCon 2019.
